Administrations are obliged to notify homeowners no later than 6 months before the start of demolition – Ministry of Justice
The Ministry of Justice reminded that administrations must notify homeowners no later than 6 months before the start of demolition.
As stated on the Telegram-channel “Legal information”, according to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On approval of the regulation on procedure for compensation of losses to citizens and legal entities in connection with the seizure of land plots for state and public needs”, administrations of the respective districts (cities) are obliged to notify the owners of residential, industrial and other buildings, structures and plantings in written form with signature no later than six months before the demolition. They need to attach the notification of copies of relevant decisions on the seizure of land plots, demolition of residential, industrial and other buildings, structures and plantings located on the land plot.
Moreover, after governors of the districts (cities) make a decision on the withdrawal of a land plot and demolition of residential, industrial and other buildings, structures and plantings, the above-mentioned residential buildings (apartments), structures and plantings are not attainable by others.
