Flock of pink flamingos back in Muynak (video)
Tourists visiting Karakalpakstan these days can observe a rare sight - pink flamingos came back to Lake Sudoche in Muynak, Uzbekistan.travel reported.
The lake is a rich source of food for many species of migratory birds. In recent years, the number of pink flamingos has increased significantly, which rest and nest during flights to the area.
Currently, measures have been taken by the government to protect flamingos and create tourist zones in Muynak.
“A flock of flamingos will stay on the lake for about two months. To get to the lake and see these unique birds with your own eyes, you will need an SUV,” the report reads.
