Hyundai plans to launch production of electric vehicles in Kokand
South Korean company Hyundai plans to start production of electric vehicles in the Kokand free economic zone.
The project on the establishment of the plant, jointly with the company Hyundai production of electric vehicles, was presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Fergana, the press service of the head of state said.
“Projects on the organization of production facility in the Kokand free economic zone, coal mining at the Vodil deposit, production of environmentally friendly paper made of stone, as well as modernization of Ferganaazot and Kokandsuperphosphate, were reviewed,” the report reads.
The President approved the submitted projects and noted the need to pay special attention to quality and deadlines in their implementation.
