Shavkat Mirziyoyev lays flowers at Sorrowful Mother Monument

Early in the morning, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid flowers at the Sorrowful Mother Monument, UzA reports.

The head of state paid tribute to the memory of our compatriots who gave their life in the Second World War.

Representatives of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, members of the government, public organizations also laid flowers at the Sorrowful Mother Monument.

It should be noted that today, May 9, Uzbekistan is widely celebrating the Memory and Honor Day.
