China may open its Visa Center in Uzbekistan
The second round of the Uzbek-Chinese consultations on consular and legal issues took place in Tashkent on May 10, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
The delegation of the Consular Department of the PRC FM was headed by Cui Aimin.
The parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the consular and legal sphere, in particular, the implementation of the consular agreement between Uzbekistan and the PRC.
According to the press service, the draft intergovernmental agreement on simplifying visa procedures for representatives of the business circles of the two states, the prospects for opening the visa center of China in Uzbekistan and other issues related to the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens in the states of the parties were also considered.
