Deputy Chairman of Central Bank appointed 

Ilhomjon Abdugaforov was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan in accordance with the decree No. PF-5730 of the President signed on May 27, 2019.

Ilhomjon Abdugaforov was born in 1973 in Tashkent. He graduated from Tashkent State University (in 1995) and the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences (in 2000). He is a specialist in the practical mathematics and a candidate of technical sciences.

Prior to that, he had worked as Director of the Department of Payment Systems and Information Technologies at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
