Criminal case on the fact of an attack on BCE officer initiated

In the Andijan region, a drunken man attacked the inspector of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement (BCE), the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
On May 10, at about 18:30, while inspectors of the Shakhrikhan district of BCE Department D. E. and I. U., as part of their official duties, were removing the certificate of testimony from the gas metering devices at the house of citizen S. B., living in the “Saroy” Mahalla, he actively resisted the inspectors, tried to kick them out of the house. He hit I. U. (born in 1988) on the head and inflicted bodily harm on him.
On this fact, the district prosecutor’s office initiated a criminal case under Part 1, Article 219 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
