Russian Novaport eyes to purchase shares of Uzbek airports
Novaport Airlines Holding of Russia is carrying out negotiations on buying shares in Kazakh airports, TASS reports.
“We are currently negotiating with Aktobe, it is very important for us. We look forward to a decision by the Kazakh government regarding Astana's Nur-Sultan airport, perhaps this will be decided next year,” Novoport's owner Roman Trotsenko said.
In addition, he said the holding is interested in airport assets in several other countries.
“We are interested in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and the CIS in general. We want to improve our position in the CIS space,” Trotsenko said.
According to him, negotiations are currently being held.
