$100,000 was stolen from a safe deposit box by a bank employee in Fergana

In one of the district offices of the “People’s Bank” in the Fergana region, $100,000 was stolen from a safe deposit box, the press service of the Interior Ministry reported.

The incident took place in the Yozyavon district of the Fergana region on February 6.

On this fact a criminal case was initiated. During the investigation it turned out that the money was appropriated by a 32-year-old bank manager in collusion with two employees of this bank.

Currently, investigative actions are being conducted by law enforcement officers.
