Nigmatilla Yuldashev appointed Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan

Chairman of the upper chamber of Oliy Majlis Nigmatilla Yuldashev was appointed Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan. The corresponding decree was signed today by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
He will replace Otabek Murodov, who led the department since January 2018.
“In accordance with paragraph 12 of Article 93 of the Constitution, the President appointed Nigmatilla Yuldashev Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan,” the decree says.
Yuldashev headed the Senate under the first President Islam Karimov.
