Implementation of investment projects worth $1.3 billion to be accelerated in Namangan
In the Namangan region, projects worth $1.3 billion are being implemented, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Today, an on-site video-conference meeting was held, which was chaired by the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Ilhom Nematov. The event was attended by the head of the Namangan regional administration, heads of diplomatic missions abroad and representatives of a number of ministries and departments.
During the meeting, implementation of more than a hundred investment projects totaling about $1.3 billion was discussed.
These projects were developed following the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Namangan region in late February. A number of them were discussed at the forum “Doing business in Namangan”.
Reasons that inhibit the implementation of projects have been identified and solved. In the near future, it is planned to create a working group to accelerate the development of investment projects in the fields of healthcare and agriculture.
