Russia’s “Krasny Oktyabr” metallurgical combine will again begin to supply special steel to Uzbekistan. It is reported by the press service of the company, whose representatives held a number of successful negotiations in the republic.
The meetings were held within the framework of Volgograd region’s business mission to Uzbekistan. Following the results of the meetings, the parties agreed to start cooperation – now models of interaction with commercial and government organizations are being formed.
In the Soviet times and in the 2000s, steel manufactured by the “Krasny Oktyabr” plant occupied a suitable place in the market of Uzbekistan, but a few years ago, trade relations were interrupted. Now the Russian enterprise is increasing production volumes and aims to expand the sales market.
During the business mission, the “Krasny Oktyabr” representatives visited two large machine-building enterprises in the Khorezm region.
It is expected that the company will also be able to participate in the construction project of a nuclear power plant, as it has experience in the supply of metal products for nuclear energy.
