Procedure for medical examination before Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages simplified
Gov’t of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on introducing amendments and addenda to the resolution “On measures to further improve organization and conduct of Hajj and Umrah events”, the Ministry of Justice reports.
In accordance with the amendments, citizens traveling to perform Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages undergo a medical examination at medical associations of districts (cities), and in complex and controversial cases – in one of the central polyclinics for free.
Previously, all stages of the medical examination were carried out free of charge in a centralized manner only in one medical institution of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional centers, as well as the city of Tashkent.
