Uzbekistan sends off first group of pilgrims for Hajj 2025
The first group of pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj season has departed from Tashkent International Airport en route to Saudi Arabia.
Today, on May 13, the first group of pilgrims intending to perform the Hajj pilgrimage began their journey.
To bid farewell to the departing pilgrims, a ceremony was held at Tashkent International Airport, attended by the Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan and Mufti Sheikh Nuriddin Kholiqnazar, Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs Sodiq Toshboev, as well as prominent religious scholars, imams, officials, and media representatives.
Thus, the 2025 Hajj season has officially commenced with the departure of its first group of pilgrims from Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia.
