Administrative penalties to increase by 10% from August 1
Recently, social networks have disseminated information about the increase of fines for administrative penalties starting from August 1, 2019.
According to the legislation, a penalty is determined based on the MMW established at the time of the offense. In accordance with the presidential decree, from August 1, 2019, the MMW will be increased by 10%. Accordingly, the amount of various administrative fines will also grow by 10%.
In this case, penalties are paid as per the MMW rate at the time of offenses committed. For example, if a driver was drawn up a protocol on July 28 for using a mobile phone while driving, he will pay the fine that was effective on July 28 (608,190 soums) within 60 days.
