68 citizens of Uzbekistan hospitalized in Samara oblast

The Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan reported that 68 citizens of the country, who have been working at the “Koshelevsky posad” enterprise in the Samara oblast, were taken to hospital with signs of poisoning.
According to the company’s management, they all work legally and have labor agreements. The employer informed the Consulate General that the company will cover all financial costs associated with treatment of the employees.
Working contacts have been established with the leadership of the enterprise and medical institutions, where our compatriots are located, and the situation has been taken under control.
The Consular-Legal Department recalls that the citizens of Uzbekistan, who are in the Volga Federal District of Russia (Republic of Bashkortostan, Kirov Oblast, Republic of Mari El, Republic of Mordovia, Nizhegorod Oblast, Orenburg Region, Penza Oblast, Perm Krai, Samara Oblast, Saratov Oblast, Republic Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic, the Ulyanovsk Oblast, the Chuvash Republic), if necessary, may contact the Consulate General of our country in Kazan at: + 7-967-772-66-00.
