Websites in the TAS-IX zone become temporarily inaccessible without VPN
In Uzbekistan, many websites operating in the TAS-IX zone began to work intermittently, the press service of Uztelecom said.
“In connection with the emergency work by the TAS-IX TSP-IX, from 03:15 on July 19, the resources of the TAS-IX zone are working intermittently,” the report says.
It should be noted that currently in Uzbekistan, all sites operating in the TAS-IX zone are not functioning. Access is only possible via VPN.
TAS-IX is an internal network of Uzbekistan, thanks to which Internet users can exchange information without spending their traffic. The main task is the possibility of direct exchange of information through the internal IP address. TAS-IX was created to ensure that the national segment of the Internet in Uzbekistan contributes to improving the development of economic conditions and the activities of small and medium-sized businesses that are associated with the use of the Internet.
