“There will be no power outages this winter in Uzbekistan” – Regional electric networks
There will be no electricity shortages in Uzbekistan this winter. This was reported by officials of the company Regional electric networks.
During a press conference on electricity issues, held at the Agency of Information and Mass Communications, representatives of the company Regional electric networks noted that more electricity was produced this year than in the previous years.
“Therefore, this year there will be no scheduled outages. However, electricity outages are not excluded in the event of an accident or an excess of demand for energy consumption due to abrupt changes in weather conditions,” the company employees said.
It also became known that at present, houses and apartments of more than 6.7 million consumers, and more than 308,000 legal entities are supplied with electricity of the company Regional electric networks.
