US dollar exchange rate increases dramatically in commercial banks

Commercial banks in Uzbekistan sharply raised the purchase rate of foreign currency.

In particular, in Asakabank, the purchase price of 1 US dollar is 8840 soums, the sale is 8900. In Aloqabank - 8840 soums (purchase) and 8880 soums (sale). In Hamkorbank - 8840 soums (purchase), 8900 soums (sale).

On the official website of Kapitalbank it is indicated that the purchase price of 1 dollar is 8740 soums, the sale is 8800. At the same time, 1 dollar can be purchased for 8900 soums through the mobile application from this bank.

It should be recalled that on August 5, the Central Bank established new exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum in accordance with which the US dollar went up by 36.16 soums and amounted to 8704.87 soums.
