Uzbekistan becomes leader in import of Russian cars
According to the report of the Avtostat analytical agency, in the first half of 2019, 19.5 thousand passenger cars were exported from the Russian Federation to other countries (not including the Eurasian Economic Union member states). This is 37% more than in the same period last year.
About 70% of this volume falls on only four countries. This year, the leadership is taken by Uzbekistan, which, within 6 months, imported about 4300 Russian cars.
Last year’s leader - the Czech Republic (4 thousand units) fell to the second line of the rating. Latvia closes the TOP-3 list (3 thousand units), and Azerbaijan is placed on the fourth place – 2100 units.
The indicators of other countries included in the TOP-10 look noticeably modest – Slovakia (851), Ukraine (787), Serbia (688), Hungary (626), Bulgaria (355) and Mongolia (302).
