State Customs Committee publishes list of goods proposed for import substitution
The State Customs Committee, after analyzing the volumes of the main consumer goods imported into the country, has published a list of goods proposed for import substitution, the press service of the committee reported.
The committee believes that if these products are in high demand, then their production is most beneficial for business in Uzbekistan. The information was prepared on the basis of import data from the beginning of the year.
“Studies have also shown that most of the imported goods can be produced by local entrepreneurs and for this there are all the necessary conditions and opportunities,” the committee said.
The SCC hopes that the information provided will help plan and launch the production of goods of great importance to the population.
“We hope that the information provided by us will help to plan and launch the production of consumer goods of great importance for the population of our country, will increase the economic potential of Uzbekistan and create additional jobs by further expanding your business,” the report reads.
