Abdulaziz Kamilov, US Assistant Secretary of Defense discuss peaceful settlement of the Afghan problem

On September 11, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Randall Schriver, US Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs, who arrived on a working visit, the MFA press service reports.

During the talks, exchange of views took place on bilateral relations, relevant international and regional issues.

“At the meeting, special attention was paid to cooperation in ensuring regional security, creating conditions for the settlement of the Afghan problem and involving the IRA in regional economic relations,” the report reads.
