Retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan increases by 6,7%
In January-August 2019, the retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to 100 205,8 billion soums, which is 6,7% more compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee reported.
Turnover of large enterprises during the period under review reached 15 76,7 billion soums (growth rate – 31,2 %), small business and private entrepreneurship – 84 440,1 billion soums (growth rate – 3.0%).

The sale of goods in the total turnover of small business and private entrepreneurship in unorganized trade amounted to 10 722,8 billion soums, which is 10.1% less than in the same period last year.
The share of small business and private entrepreneurship, in comparison with other regions, was higher in Kashkadarya (96.9%), Jizzakh (90,7%), Tashkent (90,3%) Surkhandarya (88,7%) and Namangan (87,6%) regions.
Retail sales per capita in the republic in January-August 2019 averaged 3 001,1 thousand soums.
