UzAtom Agency studies experience of Russian colleagues in manufacturing equipment for NPP construction
In order to study the experience of their colleagues in manufacturing long-term production equipment for a nuclear power plant (NPP), as well as to negotiate and establish cooperation between the parties, the delegation of the UzAtom Agency visited the production facilities of the OJSC Power Machines in St. Petersburg, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.
As part of their stay, the delegation members visited the production sites of the Leningrad Metal Plant, which produces turbines and auxiliary equipment for hydraulic, thermal and nuclear power plants and the joint venture for the production of transformers “Power Machines – Toshiba. High-voltage transformers”, created jointly with a Japanese company. Today it is a leading manufacturer and supplier of integrated solutions in the field of power engineering. The main products of the plant are power transformers and autotransformers 110-750 kV with a capacity of over 25 MVA.
During the familiarization, representatives of the OJSC Power Machines provided information on the manufactured products and their sales markets.
