Uzbekistan increases production volume of passenger cars 

The State Statistics Committee provided information on the production volume of certain types of industrial products in January-August. 

In particular, the production of passenger cars increased by 49.5% - 172,748 units. In the same period of 2018, 115,542 cars were produced.

Production of trucks increased by 40.5%. In 2018 - 2,455 units and in 2019 - 3,450 units of trucks were manufactured.

Production of automobile engines increased by 53.5%. In 2018, 85,353 engines were produced, and in 2019 - 131,007.

In January-August 2019, 983 units of tractors were manufactured, which is 60.4% less than in the same period of 2018.
