New rector of Tashkent State Law University appointed

Rakhim Khakimov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Justice - Rector of Tashkent State University of Law.

Rakhim Khakimov, born in 1983 in Chust district of the Namangan region, graduated from Namangan State University in 2003 and Tashkent State Institute of Law in 2005.

Prior to his appointment, Khakimov served as director of the Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis. He is also a member of the Committee on the Issues of Defense and Security at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

It should be reminded that the former rector of the university Yesemurat Kanyazov has recently been appointed Deputy Director of the Agency on Intellectual Property.
