Rector of Tashkent Law University dismissed

Rector of Tashkent State Law University Esemurat Kanyazov has been fired, Kun.uz source reports.

According to the source, Yesemurat Kanyazov was fired on August 23, during a video conference-meeting chaired by the President.

Yesemurat Kanyazov was born on July 13, 1971 in the Shumanay district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. In 1993, he graduated from Moscow State Automobile and Road Institute, and in 1999 – from the Karakalpak State University.

In April-October 2001, he worked as an assistant to the Minister of Justice, in 2001-2005 - as the head of the Economic Legislation Department at the Ministry of Justice, in 2005-2011 - as the Deputy Minister of Justice and from 2011 to 2013 - as the First Deputy Minister of Justice.

Kanyazov had been the rector of the Tashkent State Law University since 2013.
