Presidential decree: Military servicemen will be granted additional vacation

On September 12, 2019, the presidential decree No.PP-4447 “On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for military service of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted.

According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, in addition to the annual vacations of military servicemen under contract in the Regulation’s section “Vacations”, according to the calendar year of service:

After 10 (ten) years of military service – duration of 5 (five) days;

After 15 (fifteen) years of military service – duration of 10 (ten) days;

After 20 (twenty) years or more of military service, the procedure of granting 15 (fifteen) days additional leave is introduced.
