Uzbekistan Senate Chairperson to attend high-level meeting on promoting youth employment

The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva will take part at a high-level meeting on promoting youth employment, which will be held on September 23 within the framework of the 74th UNGA session.

Tanzila Narbaeva will make a presentation on the topic: “How can public-private partnerships support youth employment programs? What is the role of the government, workers and employers in this?”, the Senate press service said.

The event will discuss issues related to strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors in order to ensure youth employment, as well as innovative measures to support decent jobs for young people. Interactive discussions will allow participants to share experience in this field.
