Uzbekistan Railways announces a reduction in ticket prices
Due to the reduction of the value added tax rate from October 1 of the current year, ticket prices will be reduced from 20% to 15% accordingly.
As Uztemiryulyulovchi states, reduction in the VAT rate also applies to the fee for all local and international trains.
Earlier, the head of the State Tax Committee Bekhzod Musayev announced that additional 571,000 taxpayers have been identified during the first half of 2019.
It should be noted that income tax is the third in its share of tax revenues to the State Budget.
The initiative was the main impetus for the decision to reduce the VAT rate. As a result of this reduction, the country’s taxpayers will save over 10 trillion soums of their working capital.
