Central Bank unveils total volume of remittances to Uzbekistan in January-September 2019
In January-September of this year, the total volume of remittances to Uzbekistan amounted to $5.2 billion, the press service of the Central Bank said.
Of this, $4.5 billion was transferred to the republic from foreign countries, and $0.8 billion was sent abroad from Uzbekistan.
According to the press service of the regulator, the volume of foreign exchange earnings through international money transfers increased by 18% compared to the same period last year (January-September 2018 - $3.8 billion).
