General Bakhodir Kurbanov: “Today achieving political goals is possible without armed clashes”

In Tashkent, under the auspices of the OSCE, the first international scientific-practical forum “Modern military conflicts: content and lessons” was held.

According to Kun.uz correspondent, the forum was opened by the Defense Minister of Uzbekistan Major-General Bakhodir Kurbanov.

“Today all military conflicts, wherever they take place: on land, at sea, on and under water, in air, in space – occur in information and cyberspace. As a result of this, now, unlike in the past, achieving goals is possible without large-scale military operations,” Kurbanov said.

Participants of the event, experts noted that modern military conflicts have acquired new content, forms and features.
