Three younsters rob a Pakistani citizen in Yunasabad district
According to the press service of the Central Police Department, on September 28, unknown persons, being on the Bogishamol Street in the Yunusabad district, snatched a bag away from the hands of 45-year-old Pakistani citizen, in which he carried his personal documents, mobile phone Samsung S6 Edge, 800,000 soums, and fled the scene.
A criminal case was instituted on this fact under Article 166 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. In the course of studying the recordings from video surveillance cameras, it was identified that three unknown persons, who had committed the theft, were following the foreigner.
As a result of operational measures, the identities of the robbery suspects were established. The organizer of the crime was a 20-year-old guy, who some time ago rendered the victim the services of a translator.
According to the detainee, the victim allegedly borrowed 400,000 soums from him, promising to return it soon, but he did not return. In addition, the foreigner did not pay $200 for his translation services. Thus he decided to take revenge on his recent employer and planned a robbery.
On September 28, the guy, together with his friends, realized his plan. As a result of operational measures, police officers detained the suspects. An investigation is underway.
