Amendments introduced to some government resolutions in connection with the start of trade-in program
Some resolutions of the Government of Uzbekistan have been amended in connection with the start of the trade-in program implementation in the country, the Justice Ministry reported.
The program, according to which a client can obtain a new car by handing over the old one and paying for the value difference, has been in force in the country since October 1.
Now, in particular, it has been established that when selling cars by legal entities and individuals to official dealer enterprises using the trade-in system, notarization of the transaction is not required.
“In addition, documents, which must be submitted to the State Road Safety Inspectorate for temporary registration of the used vehicle purchased by an authorized dealer for this program, have been identified” the publication said.
Temporary registration of a car is made with the issuance of a certificate by the State Road Safety Inspectorate, this certificate does not give the right to drive a car. No temporary registration fee is charged.
