State Statistics Committee reveals data on average monthly salary of citizens
In January-September 2019, average monthly nominal wage of workers at the enterprises and organizations having the status of a legal entity in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 2.2 million soums.

According to the State Statistics Committee, this figure includes salaries, bonuses, incentive payments, compensation and overtime payment, as well as individual income tax and trade union fees, which grew by 31.2% in comparison to the corresponding period of 2018.
In the education field, 23,298 institutions employ 1.01 million people, with a payroll fund of 15.9 trillion soums. The average monthly salary in the sphere amounted to 1.7 million soums, which is 36.7% more than in the same period last year.
The highest average monthly nominal wages were observed in the education sector. Slightly higher average wages recorded in Tashkent - 29.9%, Tashkent region - 3.2%, Jizzakh region - 1.9% and Namangan region - 1.2%. Significant lower wages were observed in Surkhandarya - 5.6%, Khorezm - 4.5%, Fergana - 2.1% and Kashkadarya regions - 0.2%.
In the industrial sector, the highest wages were registered in the Navoi region - 22.7%, Tashkent - 15.4%, the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 12.6% and the Tashkent region - 5.5%. Relatively lower wages were in Surkhandarya, Namangan - 3.3%, Jizzakh - 2.9% and Sirdarya - 2.8%.
The highest average monthly nominal wages in the sphere of healthcare and social services were in the city of Tashkent - 18.6%, Bukhara region - 11.9%, the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 11.0% and Syrdarya region - 9.0%. The lowest wages were in Navoi - 5.7%, Fergana - 4.5%, Tashkent - 3.4% and Kashkadarya - 0.9%.
The highest average monthly nominal wages in transportation and storage were in Tashkent - 21.2%, as well as in Bukhara region. Syrdarya - 3.1%, Jizzakh - 1.6%, Samarkand and Andijan - 0.3%.
The average monthly nominal salary in banking, insurance, leasing, credit and intermediary activities was 31.0% in Tashkent. The lowest wages in this sphere were in Tashkent region - 6.9%, Sirdarya - 6.5%, Kashkadarya - 5.0% and Surkhandarya - 4.6%.
