US Eximbank ready to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan
The Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov, within the framework of his to Washington DC, met with the President of the US Eximbank Kimberly A. Reed.
The parties exchanged views on the current level of cooperation and prospects for its expansion, taking into account the dynamically developing economic potential of Uzbekistan and the newly created opportunities for partnership.

During the meeting, the issues of increasing financial aid to the development of joint investment projects in industry and infrastructure construction, as well as volume of lending to small and medium-sized businesses were examined.

The sides also considered the possibilities of assistance by the US Eximbank in purchasing high-tech American equipment as part of joint investment projects.
