ADB allocates $3.79 billion to Uzbekistan for joint implementation of 27 projects
The Finance Ministry of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank In-chang Song, who paid an official working visit to our country on October 30.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Finance Minister Odilbek Isakov noted that ADB is a reliable partner of Uzbekistan in the implementation of major development programs and major infrastructure projects.
The parties discussed the Partnership Strategy and the Country Operations Business Plan for 2019-2021, which provides for the joint implementation of 27 projects with financing from ADB in the amount of $3.79 billion.
During the talks, the ADB Executive Director expressed his readiness to further expand cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan, contributing to the development of the region as a whole.
