Foreign investments worth over $100 million to be realized in Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Innovative Development concluded the InnoWeek-2019 exhibition.
Reportedly, Memoranda of Understanding and investment agreements were signed with businessmen from China, Turkey, Israel, Poland and India for a total of $108.7 million during the Week. In total, the event was attended by representatives of leading companies from 18 foreign countries.
At the roundtable, the goal that was outlined by 2030 - Uzbekistan’s entry into 50 strongest states in the Global Innovation Index, was voiced.
In this regard, with the assistance of Elsevier, an online dialogue was held with the founder of the Global Innovation Index (GII) on main factors of Uzbekistan’s entry into the GII.
Intensive discussions took place at a seminar on the use of artificial intelligence in the economy of Uzbekistan and the prospects for development of this sphere.
