Cabinet of Ministers limits the time of crossing the state border to 30 minutes

The government approved a regulation on the procedure for conducting border, customs, sanitary-quarantine, phytosanitary and veterinary control, when individuals, vehicles and goods cross the state border of Uzbekistan.
The regulation clearly specify the time of vehicles to be present at checkpoints.
According to the regulation, the length of stay of a vehicle at the checkpoint should not exceed the following terms:
light vehicles - 15 minutes;
freight vehicles - 30 minutes.
Cases, in which the time for passing the control procedure may exceed the established standards, have also been specified.
In particular, the time of the check-up may be longer than the established period, when the state regulatory bodies operating the checkpoint detect violations.
