Seven members of a family poisoned from canned food in Kashkadarya. The mother, one of the children died
In Kashkadarya region, seven members of one family, residing in the Tutli village, Langar mahalla of the Chirakchi district, were poisoned from homemade tomato. Family members were hospitalized in the regional clinics.
The Ministry of Health reports that despite the medical care provided, on November 18 at about 08:00, Yu. U., and on November 20 at 09:30, the eldest child of the family (born in 2006), died.
The deceased were delivered to the regional branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care, they were diagnosed with severe form of botulism, acute toxemia, toxic neuropathy and acute respiratory failure of first level.
The other members of the family are being treated at the Regional Hospital of Infectious Diseases. Their health condition is satisfactory.
