Uzbekistan exports gold for $4 billion
In January-October 2019, Uzbekistan increased gold exports by 2.6 times compared to the same period of 2018. This is evidenced by the State Statistics Committee data.
Reportedly, in January-October 2019, Uzbekistan exported gold worth $4.04 billion.
At the same time, the share of gold in exports amounted to 27.3%.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan has increased gold exports in recent years. In 2015, gold export totaled $823.9 million, in 2016 - $738.2 million, in 2017 - $1.6 billion and in 2018 - $2.91 billion.
Earlier, it was reported that the people in Uzbekistan have increased their expenses for foreign-made cars.
