Presidential Decree: Joint Uzbek-Belarusian Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications to open in Tashkent
A joint Uzbek-Belarusian Inter-sectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications will be opened in Tashkent, follows from the presidential decree signed on November 20.
The Institute will be established on the basis of the Tashkent State Technical University. The Belarusian National Technical University and the Republican Institute of Professional Education will be its stakeholders.
The establishment will offer courses mainly in IT, Engineering and Industry. The admission is expected to start in the 2020/2021 academic year.
Graduates will be granted a diploma in the established model from the Belarusian National Technical University, which is recognized as a document on higher education in Uzbekistan.
It is noted that a branch of the Institute may open in Navoi in 2021.
