The incident occurred in the Aktobe region on Friday afternoon. A patrol inspector and two migration police officers were performing their duties on the Samara-Shymkent highway, when they suddenly saw two men walking along the road.
The unknown persons turned out to be citizens of Uzbekistan, who, after working at a construction site, were heading to Shymkent on foot. The men did not have money, so they hoped to hitchhike.
Then the police officers decided to help the frozen workers and put them in their service car. The men were brought to Aktobe, from where they were able to get home.
