In the evening of November 28, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon flew from Bishkek to Tashkent to participate in the second consultative meeting of Central Asian heads of state.
At the international airport of Tashkent, he was met by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.
On the same day, Emomali Rahmon met with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the meeting, prospects for the development of relations between the two countries in the fields of economy, energy, transport, education, culture and investment were discussed. The parties expressed satisfaction with the current state of cooperation between the two states in many areas.
The President of Tajikistan invited Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay an official visit to Dushanbe.
