Trade Minister Umurzakov receives Mayor of Nagoya Takashi Kawamura
On December 11 of this year, delegation of Japan headed by the mayor of Nagoya Takashi Kawamura arrived in Tashkent on an official visit.
The delegation included representatives from the Administration of Japan’s Cabinet of Ministers, specialized departments of the Nagoya administration on the development of aviation and airports, tourism and culture, youth policy, sports, heads of major commercial companies and representatives of Nagoya University.
The head of the delegation was met by the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov. The parties briefly discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for expanding cooperation.

The sides agreed to develop a system for further strengthening trade-economic ties between Uzbek companies and private sector of Nagoya. According to the parties, this issue requires additional study and discussion, based on which it will be possible to identify specific promising areas for further practical cooperation.
