A man from Tashkent says he was kidnapped and beaten by unknown people for comments on Facebook, police starts investigation
The police department of Tashkent noted that they have started investigation on the appeal of resident Amir Sharifullin, who claimed to have been beaten by unknown people.
“In accordance with the appeal of citizen Amir Sharifullin, published on social networks, the Central Internal Affairs Directorate began investigations. The results will be announced soon,” the statement reads.
The department also asks not to draw premature conclusions, but to wait for the results of the investigation.
It should be recalled that on Monday, the media reported that Amir Sharifullin, when leaving home, was kidnapped by two unknown persons and taken to a guarded place, where he was forced to apologize several times before the camera for the posts he made and the comments he published on Facebook, he was then beaten.
