Families of the victims killed during the construction of the Yunusabad metro line to be allocated 100 million soums each
By order of the government commission, families of those killed during the construction of the Yunusabad metro line were allocated 100 million soums each.
According to the press service of Uzbekistan Railways, today, on behalf of the government commission established to study the causes and consequences of the incident in construction of the Yunusabad metro line, 100 million soums were allocated and transferred to each family.
In addition, it was instructed to provide comprehensive assistance in organizing mourning events and funerals for the families of the victims.
Chairman of Uzbekistan Railways also expressed condolences.
“On behalf of all the employees of Uzbekistan Railways JSC and on my own behalf, let me express my sincere condolences, first of all, to the families and friends of the victims, and to all compatriots. I say these words with great pain and sorrow. My heart is full of grief and sympathy for the irreparable loss. For us, these guys will always remain true heroes who have done a lot of good for the nation,” he said.
