Health Ministry: Medical facilities will work around the clock on holidays
In Uzbekistan, during holidays, medical facilities will operate around the clock.
As the press service of the Health Ministry reports, during public holidays, medical staff will serve the population on the basis of their schedule in 2,351 outpatient clinics of all district, regional and national hospitals, scientific-practical medical centers, clinics, higher education institutions specialized in medical training and 218 maternity hospitals.
Emergency hospitals and ambulance services will operate as usual, continuously. In particular, qualified medical assistance to the population will be provided at the republican scientific center for emergency medical care, its 13 regional branches, all departments in the system of district and city medical associations.
“Now in our country there is one ambulance for every 13,000 people. Naturally, this gives its results in improving the quality of the ambulance service for the population,” the press service concluded.
