Government adopts a decree to improve customs procedures in the registration of goods and vehicles imported to Uzbekistan
A government decree “On improving customs procedures in the registration of goods and vehicles imported into the territory of Uzbekistan” has been adopted, the press service of the Justice Ministry reported.
In accordance with the decree:
- importing of goods, which require a certificate of conformity, a sanitary-epidemiological certificate, an environmental certificate issued by the competent authorities in the prescribed manner, is allowed only if they are approved for issue in the Single Window customs information system;
- release for free circulation of goods for which the initial customs declaration was previously submitted, is carried out within three hours from the date of the customs declaration of the goods, with the exception of cases when risk situations are detected by the automated risk management system.
The provision will enter into force on April 3, 2020.
