Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe plans to visit Uzbekistan. Specific dates will be agreed before the end of 2020.
In accordance with the “roadmap” approved by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the parties will hold the 18th round of inter-MFA consultations before October this year. Following the event, agenda for the visit of the Japanese Prime Minister is expected to be agreed.
It should be recalled that during his visit to Japan in December last year, Mirziyoyev invited Shinzō Abe to visit Uzbekistan. Then the parties signed a joint statement on further deepening and expanding strategic partnership, intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents on strengthening relations, as well as investment agreements and trade contracts.
